Offshore Entities
- which to use for what purpose...

We appreciate your interest in protecting your investment - and in learning about what you need to do in order to not get caught in the common trap that catches most novice investors that have heard about "offshore", but never really understood what actually is required in order to use offshore legal entities without conflict with the law in their home country.

The webinar will be held in Novasol's voice room at the times announced on the web page you just came from.

The instructor will be Mogens Eliasen.

The objective for this Webinar is to give you an overview of what you can do with offshore Entities (Trusts, Foundations, IBCs) and some of the various additional tools you can add to those. This should enable you to make some diligent decisions in regards to planning your offshore structure, so you get it done right, to fit your purpose.

Special emphasis will be given to the specific ways you can use either of the possible legal entities to achieve any of the major objectives:

  • Securing your privacy
  • Protecting your assets and your Estate
  • Providing tax shelter
  • Ensuring your effective control

The agenda will particularly cover the following issues:

  1. An overview of the relevant entities:

    • The Corporation
    • The Foundation
    • The Trust
and how their individual legal structures function; what each of them are good at and not so good at.

  2. How the features of those legal entiteis compare in regards to

    • Privacy
    • Asset protection and Estate planning
    • Taxes
    • Price
    • Maintenance costs
    • Personal involvement
    • Exercise control without compromising your privacy

  3. How you go about making your choices!

As you will learn from this webinar, the principles behind your exercising control are the most crucial factor of all - and that factor has a common solution that does not depend on the choice of entity! But that same factor certainly has an impact on the yearly maintenance costs...

For offshore novices, it is often surprising to learn that what they think is "important" really doesn't matter much - and this webinar typically causes most people to change their way of thinking in this regard...

This webinar is scheduled to last about 2 hours, but questions from the audience might push it towards 3 hours.

The next webinar on this topic is scheduled for

  • Saturday NOV 26, 2011, at noon MST (2 PM EST, 2000 hrs Mainland Europe, 0800 hrs next day New Zealand)

In order for you to participate, there are three requirements (all links open in a new window):

  1. For retrieving your log-in structions and your password, you will need a hushmail account - but it is free, so that should be no issue.

  2. You must make a nominal payment of US$ 10.00, using a credit card in your own name, so we can verify your ID.

  3. You must submit to us via hushmail this affidavit - and we will then respond with the password for the webinar to your hushmail account. Our response will be your confirmation that the nickname you selected for entrance to the voice room has been accepted by us, so you do not get blocked out from the conference because we cannot identify you. We will not send that password through unencrypted e-mail, and we do not send it to people who do not submit their affidavit, appropriately edited with their personal data, so please be careful about following the instructions for that affidavit (they are included in the document you open when clicking on the link above). Please also note that you cannot edit that document until you have copied it into an open hushmail of yours!

If you participate by invitation of a sponsor, then please refer to the name of the sponsor and the code you got from the sponsor, if you got one.

To your freedom!

Assessing the advice you can get from a professional advisor

When you think about asking a professional advisor, like your accountant, your lawyer, of your financial planner, you need to understand where they are coming from, before you blindly accept their answers to your queries.

This is particularly true if your questions have anything to do with "going offshore"...

These professionals have learned what they have learned through education provided for by the government, one way or the other. This means that they are "fully qualified" for their job if/when they know nothing but what the government wants them to know...

These professionals generally further depend on a government license in order to maintain their practice - and thus their income...

Question: What kind of advice do you think you will get from them when you inquire about something your government most definitely will not like you to do, such as your "going offshore" and pulling assets and income streams out of the government's control and tax base?

The solutions have been available for hundreds of years, but most people have the incorrect perception that this stuff is "only for the rich". It is not! It is certainly also available for the small business owner and the novice investor - and they need these tools even more than those who can afford to pay for everything they want.

This stuff is not taught in any school or at any university that is controlled by government. But it is vital to know for anyone who has a desire to get rich and not ripped off by their own government.
